The excellent buffet breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with a wide variety of options to start the day.
Cleanliness was lacking, as we found long black hairs on the floor when we arrived and they remained there throughout our stay.

great location but minor cleanliness issues
The location was fantastic, very close to the beach and numerous dining options. The staff were friendly, and the swimming pool area provided a lovely atmosphere to relax and enjoy. Our room had a pleasant mountain view that added a beautiful backdrop to our mornings.
Cleanliness could have been improved, as we noticed some stray hairs in the room upon arrival.

Vibes in Platja d'Aro 🌊🍹
Fit my needs perfectly-lekker brekkie with all sorts, clean pool for a cool dip, and chommies at reception were super friendly. Loved the spacious spot we had to unwind, just a stroll to the beach and shops!
Just a bit noisy at times when people came back from going out, you know how it is!

Comfortable Stay for Families
We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing vacation here. The bar never felt crowded, and we loved lining up for prompt service. The staff were really good, and the atmosphere was calming. For families, it's important to note the small shower space. Aim for a room with an ocean view if possible!

The superior room option features a sizable terrace, perfect for lounging or enjoying evening views. The breakfast buffet delivers solid meals with decent variety, although it does get repetitive after a few days.
Rooms feel cramped, especially with a family. The thin walls can make noise carry more than desired. Shower spaces are miniature, with a frustratingly short curtain that leaves the floor frequently soaked. Housekeeping wasn't thorough. A couple of stray hairs were evident upon arrival and lingered for the duration of our stay. It's also worth noting that there isn't dedicated parking despite it being advertised, which can be a hassle in peak season.

A welcoming atmosphere and excellent service are what you can expect during your stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, like having our own personal concierge. The guest rooms offer a comfortable setting in which to unwind. The bed was so comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The hotel's peaceful atmosphere extends to its recreational facilities. We spent our days soaking up the sunshine around the pool, enjoying the panoramic views and sipping on refreshing cocktails. The cafe at the hotel was the perfect spot to start our mornings. The aroma of freshly brewed espresso filled the air, giving us the energy to explore the surrounding shops, bars, and restaurants. The location of the hotel was ideal. It was conveniently located near the beach, allowing us to easily access water sports activities and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
Limited seating and umbrellas at the pool area.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Platja D'Aro in Platja d'Aro for a business trip, as chosen by my director. The panoramic views of the swimming pool and the avenue were truly impressive. It was refreshing to enjoy such breathtaking sights, adding a touch of tranquility to my stay. The hotel's attention to detail in creating these picturesque views was particularly notable, creating a perfect ambiance for relaxation and unwinding after a long day of work.
Nothing to complain about at all.
